Alliance Gold

I know this is a pretty lame subject to start my tread history with, but here we go.

If anyone is leveling a alliance on this server (why you would i don't know) I would be more then happy to trade some of your horde gold for some of my alliance gold. If this would be a help to you it would be a help to me, just send Monkeypuzzle (horde) or Muk (alliance) a tell and we can start scratching backs.

I do not have an alliance toon on the server, but sincethey allow the crossover - I totally see nothing wrong with it.

Could this help out nerds like me in getting alliance non combat pets? thinking about it makes my head hurt...

My fiancee has a fiftysomething warlock on Ysondre which i was considering transferring to TL. I was then going to hatch a plan of selling pets on the neutral AH for masive amounts of gold which would them be int the possesion of my alliance toon who could then by worthless junk off of me for a huge price in order to return the cash?

With this system however i could by the pets from you and then you return the cash via tha horde character? Would this work? Have i talked myself round in circles?

FYI you cannot buy and sell stuff in AH to any toon on your account. You need to use someone to fence the goods for you.

Such as go to a neutral AH (horde account) and put some grey item up on AH for some retarded price of 10k gold and buy it with your alliance account?

Can that be done to x-fer gold?

You can do that. . . BUT! . . . that is also a classic way to launder money from gold farmers and Blizz tends to watch those transactions really closely. You'd be better off selling non-combat pets or crafting mats at like 500% mark up. This way - if somebody ELSE buys them from you, you STILL make lots of money : )

Blizzard watching the money laundering thing aside, don't forget about the cut the AH keeps off each successful auction! You could toss an obsene amount of gold away to the AH goblins on a 10k linen bandage...
