Have a lot of Frostweave cloth taking up you valuable bag/bank space? Need to do something with it, but just don't know what?
Now introducing:
Noobie tailor, Eisen! Eisen will supply you with all the bank space you can imagine for your Frostweave cloth storage needs.*

*Additional conditions apply for return of said cloth

haha, seriously though. Tailoring takes a ton of cloth, I'll take all you got. If I'm not around, feel free to CoD it to me for, oh idk 8-10g/stack? I still need like 150 or 200 stacks or some ridiculous number...

Also, he's at 410 or something now, and I still haven't chosen a specialty. Any opinions? Since he's a tree, I was thinking about Mooncloth, but I don't know a whole lot about it. Thinking about usefulness to the guild (is there one type we're missing?), marketability, and usefulness to myself, obviously... any/all opinions welcome.

FYI...I end up with tons of frostweave and have no use or desire to carry it around all the time. (Stuff gets heavy in my teeny, tiny bags) Therefore I have graciously deposited a few stacks into the guild bank and will continue to do unless someone prefer that I send directly to them?

After a quick search of the high end epic craftables and what cloth they require moonlcoth seems to be the way to go most items will use either 8/10 spellweave OR 8/10 Ebonweave or 8/10 Spellweave AND 8/10 Ebonweave. The Moonshroud items cost 20 Moonshroud each.

You can make any pattern regardless of specialisation (i think) but if you specialise Moonshroud you will make 2 cloth for every craft instead of just 1. If you didn't go moonshroud you'd have to wait twice as long before you can make you shiney ilvl245 items...

Although saying all this i know nothing about what trees desire stat-wise, i've just always assumed Moonshroud = Healer...

P.S I'm Ebonweave btw

My tailor dilemma is still making netherweave stuff but I really get confused about all the ebonweave/moon cloth stuff. How do you go about getting a specialty?

I am a Spellweave tailor soooo i guess that cover all of them so i would say Eisen should just become whatever he want to be Laughing As of right now i still need a lot of Frostweave for myself to get out my last 9 points but after that i would be happy to send it your way.

PS i usually make them into bolts to take up less space when travelling this may also help you out a bit as i would be giving you 5 times the amount once bolted.

I can't quite remember how it works exactly but it all begins with quests that you pick up in lower city shattrah, that is the point at which you specialise which dictates you speciality in Wrath.

Specialisation in TBC was pretty complex stuff, some recipies were BOP and required specialisation to craft, some items were BOP once crafted and i think there were some that were BOE but required the specialisation to equip, i can't remember exactly and may be totally wrong!

Therefore what you specialised depended on what gear you wanted to make for yourself, as a frost mage at the time i was gunning for the frozen shadoweave set, Spellfire was the other choice and then mooncloth for healers

The specialisation you pick in TBC is the specialisation you'll have in Wrath but the only benifit is that you can craft 2 cloth per 4 day cooldown rather than one, you won't be locked out from buying other specialisation recipes, crafting or wearing the gear it will just take longer to make it if you are using your own mats.

I'm not sure of the process to switch, whether it's a few quests a lot of turn ins or a ton of gold, but having said that, if it's easy i might look into it now no one really needs Ebonweave anyway... Sad

WTB Spellweave Tailor pst...

Cool, thanks for the info and help guys. I'm probably going to do Moonshroud just because of the healing thing.

@amber - Yeah I've been bolting it as well, saves 4 slots/stack! Smile

@bash - I think I'm going to start calling you Bing. You always have the answers... thanks man (just kidding, btw)
