I can't think of a name for the 10 man ToC team from last night, so I feel kinda brain dead . . . well, there ya go.

Tanks - Judeaded, Akaichisuru
Heals - Jamize, Obrox, Bhorgia
DPS - Zakili, Bloodtracker, Abhorred, Emiran, Tsizzles, Sebastion, Liquidoxen

We are raiding on Tues, Thurs, and Sunday. The Thurs and Sunday runs will be pretty short (time-wise), since on those nights I can only play from 8:30-10:30, or so. We are pretty well geared, but certainly not just the top 10 from the guild (James replaced some blue shoulders last night). There are a lot of officers on this list, but it's not exclusively about that, either. The team formed when I said I couldn't put any more teams together. The folks who were left in the channel included most of the team, so we figured that we would start there. 7 of us ran Karazhan together, so it's pretty fair to say the team has been together a while already. heh.

Anyway, I said I would keep the guild informed of our runs. Unfortunately, i do not have a combat log from last night.
We 2 shot Ony(first pull was a wipe because we brought her out of phase 2 so fast the tanks were not ready to pick her up! - because they are clearly nubs).
We 2- shot Beasts, Jaxx and Champions in ToC.
Valk and Anub are on notice for Sunday.

The purpose of 10 man teams is not to exclude anyone, but is simply a matter of convenience for me, personally.
I know that Edtheundead had a successful 10 man team this week too - hopefully somebody will toss that team info on the website as well.

Finally, we are not recruiting guys - please don't "apply" to the team on this thread. We appreciate the enthusiasm, but the point of a 10 man is to not have to replace anybody each week.

It took 5 pulls on the Valkyries, but we got 'em.

And then we 1-shot Anub, of course. Waffle was really disappointed that Anub was easy. Waffle's crazy - we're just that good! : )

Very little gear dropped (we had to off-set several pieces), but still was great to make some guild progress.

One night clear of ToC, with an appetizer of Onyxia.

We got FLevi, XT, Kolo, Aura, Freya, Hodir, and Mimiron last week, so I think we're going after Thorim, General and . . . .YOGG on Sunday.

ToC-10 reg is on farm. We will continue to do that each week. It only takes about 90 minutes or so to clear the whole thing, and gives LOADS of Triumph emblems. We will take the 10 man to clear Uld - if not this sunday - then we will extend it and get General and Yogg very soon - for a guild-first clear! Hopefully, we can repeat that the following week.

Our kill list will be:
Ony every week
ToC Reg every week
Uld reg clears
ToC Heroic for progression
Ulduar Hard Mode for progression

General and Yogg are really hard fights, and ALL of the hard modes and Heroic ToC are no joke either. But by farming the emblems EVERY WEEK - we will gear up enough to make that realistic.

I do find myself playing more to get enough gold to withstand the learning curve - but it's worth it so far.

I'd love to hear some other stories from the other 10 man squads out there.

Thorim dying means we've cleared the Keepers.
General Vezax dying means we are only 1 boss away from clearing Uld.

Yogg is on notice this week.

We are also going back to wipe out 10 ToC a little bit more (at this stage, I think it's just to farm Emblems of Triumph).

Notes for Yogg:
Phase one
AVOID THE CLOUDS - only need to fight one guardian at a time. They need to be tanked on top of Sara, so be mindful of where you step.
The Guardian's DARK VOLLEY needs to get interrupted.
The Guardian's DOMINATE MIND needs to be dispelled with Shaman Purge (or Priest Mass Dispell).
It takes about 8 Guardians to kill Sara.

Get rid of the adds before phase 2

Phase 2
Constrictor Tentacles die first - Divine Shield and Ice Block free the person targeted and instantly kills tentacle.
Corruptor Tentacles cast debuffs that need to be removed.
Crusher Tentacles - ranged dps focus fire these down - when they begin casting Diminished Power - stop dps - let tank run in and interrupt channel.
PORTAL - melee should take the portal - in the portal room - melee needs to hit the target-able NPCs and then kill the tentacle that spawns from it (all while facing away from the floating skulls - the skulls only do damage when you FACE them). When all the tentacles in the portal room are killed - melee dps need to attack Yogg's brain - but, they need to take the portal's out of the room before Yogg's INSANITY spell is finished.
Rinse and repeat.

TWO OTHER ABILITIES - Green beams of death - they do not do damage - they just kill you, ouch!
Brain Link - 2 raid members will be linked - they need to stay close together - if they get far apart the beam turns red and they start taking damage.

THROUGHOUT THE FIGHT - Yogg will be reducing your SANITY. Some abilities will reduce this further. If sanity is getting low - go stand in the green beam provided by Freya.

When Yogg gets to 30% - Phase 3 starts
Phase 3
'Lunatic gaze' ability works like skulls for melee in phase 2 - dont stare at it and you wont take damage.
Immortal Guardians will spawn periodically and will need to be tanked and spanked.

Easy mode! Razz

Yogg isn't down yet, but we definitely made progress with her.

On our last 2 pulls we were 100% alive headed into Phase 2.
We need to figure out Phase 2 better, than we'll be all right.

I updated the World of Logs file to include our last 3 nights of raiding - 10/15, 10/18, 10/20.

We have stalled a little on Yogg and in the Faction Champions.

I edited the team roster to our final size of 12.

We'll be trying Yogg again tonight. I will be bringing a priest to help with decurses and supply extra buffs.

I think the key for our Yogg pulls will be to max-out the dps in the portal rooms. The faster we can get the npc-s dead, the more time we can spend on the big bad brain.

I've got a good feeling about tonight!!!

Well, Ony and ToC are cleared for the week.

We have Yogg left. We really really really need to clear that.

Ideally we will have Ony, VoA, ToC in one night (no VoA last night, but the rest happened easily). We are still handing out enough gear from ToC and Ony to justify clearing those every week.

Yogg dies Thursday!
